In 2006, Newnes, an imprint of Elsevier Science and Technology Books, published Creed's book Intelligent Sensor Design Using the Microchip dsPIC™, and from 2004 to 2008 he served as a member of the Technology Advisory Board for Quickfilter Technologies, Inc., a Texas-based company offering advanced mixed-signal solutions for analog and digital signal processing that was named as one of the five finalists for the 2007 Best Startup of the Year award by EE Times magazine.
