"Recently, a major global financial institution asked Secure Products to develop a new counterfeit detection sensor, but with the stipulation that it be completed in five months and with the additional requirement that we create a non-intrusive data acquisition system to prove that the new sensor worked as promised. On the recommendation of our hardware designer, we contracted with Real-Time by Design to develop the sensor's control and communication firmware, design the data acquisition system, and perform acceptance testing with the customer.

Despite the tight schedule, Real-Time delivered the sensor firmware on-time and on-budget and quickly integrated it into the customer's existing system. With the information gathered using the associated data acquisition system, we were able to demonstrate to the customer that the sensor's outstanding performance (well beyond that of the previous generation of sensors) was accurate and repeatable.
